Join the Georgia State Society as we pay respects to our 39th president - and Georgia's son - Jimmy Carter. A breakfast reception honoring the life of President Carter will begin at 8:00 am on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in Room 2043, Rayburn HOB. At 8:45 am Georgia State Society members will proceed to the Capitol Rotunda for the Lying in State.
