The Georgia State Society is pleased to announce our annual Cherry Blossom Dinner/Dance to be held on Saturday April 6th at the Cosmos Club in Washington D.C. The dinner will honor our 2024 Georgia Cherry Blossom Princess, Mary Clifton Carr, who will represent Georgia in events during the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Mary Clifton is the daughter of Meredith Johnson and Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr of Atlanta, Georgia. Mary Clifton is a graduate of Marist High School in Atlanta and is a student at the University of Georgia majoring in Entertainment and Media Studies. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and represents her sorority on the UGA Panhellenic Council. During her elementary school years Mary Clifton was a member of the Court of the Georgia Princess at several Georgia State Society Cherry Blossom dinners.

Tickets for the 2024 Cherry Blossom Dinner are $60 for adults and $25 for youth (17 and below).
